new places part 2

hi everyone,

tonight Snowball was very grumpy because
my sister shoved two fingers down Snowball's nest
and Snowball squeaked! I must note though
that dwarf hamsters are quite grumpy when they are half asleep.

in other news now ,
tonight  Peanut is taken to another place she hasn't explored...

yes i am, just step into this slipper and
i shall take you there...

only joking, Peanut. this time i am
going to take you somewhere new,
just hop into this buiscuit tin and i
shall take you there...

a few moments later...

it's not my fault i was too busy to hoover
last night Peanut - Peanut! Watch out!

thats enough of that adventure for tonight, but i thought i'd show you a picture of
Snowball digging, wondering where her old nest box is.
( sorry for bad photo,
she was moving fast )

behind the scenes 3

hi everyone!

tonight is a bit of a surprise -
today i cleaned out Peanut so i thought I would
do a third installment of behind the scenes...

















tonights blog will see what goes on when i clean out Peanuts
cage and the antics she gets up to.
firstly i clean the cage...

















and whilst i am cleaning her cage i put Peanut
in her wire pen or hamster ball,
below i have made the adjustable pen into the shape
of a star, why? Peanut will tell you below...

however Peanut does get bored and escaped
when i cleaned the cage - thankfully i managed to catch
her before she could get to any harm.

















Peanut does not like getting her cage cleaned so when i return
her newly cleaned cage i give her some treats...

















.... then she sets to work rebuilding her nest ,
 she pouches her nesting fluff and rearanges it.

Snowball often wakes up to see whats
going on...

well you heard Snowball,
i might  let  you see what Snowball gets up to
when i clean her out.
