merry Christmas! Snowball and Peanut open their presents

hi everyone,

firstly, a very merry Christmas
to you all!
Peanut likes Christmas and shes gonna love what
Santa hamster brought for her - Snowball got a present  too!

wake up Snowball its Christmas day!

Peanut takes a look at her present pile...

of course I like you Peanut! I like both you
and Snowball. my sister likes Peanut and Snowball too.
there is always one gift at Christmas though that
is a little unusual...                                        

Peanut got a loofah slice in her small animal stocking,

i guess its so she can use it to gnaw on.

you may be wondering, what did Snowball get for Christmas?
she got a wooden rainbow bridge and some hamster treats.

Peanut and Snowballs Christmas trees

hi everyone,

tonight's post took some time to construct ( 2 days )
as i was making 2 decorations for tonight's post (and went to an event)
read on further to find out, or should i say fur-ther  ha ha ha, managed to sneak a joke in that sentence.
after all, it is the season to be jolly isn't it? ...

p.s if you are wondering how i made
peanuts Xmas tree, ( not snowballs- snowballs is not edible )
 here's how:
1. the tree is a paper cone
2. i threaded flavourless popcorn and raisins onto thread
3. the star on top of the tree is made of cheese
4. if the tree is for a hammy to eat, 
: after the photos were taken i removed the popcorn
from the thread cos i don't think the thread is safe for hamsters.

Measuring the hammies.

Hi all
Tonight I've  just measured both Peanut and Snowball.
From nose to tail,
Snowball measures : 12.2cm
Though Peanut is clearly the winner here at 21cm! Thats almost 3/4 of a 30cm ruler!

tonight I took a video of Peanut in a toy car

being 'driven' around.

but I forgot to actually take any photos.

anyway, I don't think this post needs a photo. Its quite a  simple

mealtime mealworms

hi all,

tonight Peanut and snowball are describing their meals -

prepare for an argument....

 



Honestly, it is true - my hamster's ( well Snowball is owned by my sister )
food mix contains meal worms.

Peanut likes them but Snowball wont touch one.

as an extra bonus tonight I managed to snap this photo of snowball in her treat den.

well, you know how little kids will sometimes believe almost anything you say?

Peanut in human years is only 1 year and several months old, so Snowball

probably was feeling naughty tonight.
